Parliament unable to found spokespersons board, coalition talks delayed
With President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an repeatedly declaring he will give the mandate to form a new government only after parliament establishes its board, the new assembly's related body has not been able agree to the makeup of the board, delaying the procedure to kick off coalition talks by at least two days.

Turkey's parliament has elected ?smet Y?lmaz, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) candidate and incumbent defence minister, as its speaker with "covert support" from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
The first two rounds of voting were held on June 30, but none of the four candidates gathered the required support of 367 members of parliament in the 550-seat assembly.
