Istanbul's museum of modern art, Istanbul Modern, moved on May 4 into a new building overlooking the Bosphorus Strait, designed by Renzo Piano, the Italian-born architect of London's Shard skyscraper and the Pompidou Center in Paris.

Established in 2004, the Istanbul Modern in 2018 moved out of a rustic building that once served as a customs warehouse.

The Pompidou Center in Paris has signed an agreement to help create a modern art museum in Saudi Arabia's Al-Ula heritage site, dedicated to Arab artists, it said Wednesday.

The Pompidou, France's leading museum of contemporary art, also told AFP it may open a branch in South Korea in 2025, with more details due soon.

The Museum of Children's Art is organizing a virtual tour of the Pompidou Center in Paris to learn all about the Dada movement and a workshop on how to turn an ordinary object into art, on Sunday, February 12. The first session, from 11 a.m. to 12.20 p.m., is for children aged 4-6 and costs 17 euros for one child and one adult or 22 euros for two children and one adult.
