'I am still fine': New York rattled by small earthquake, aftershock
UN Security Council diplomats were shaken in their chairs, planes got briefly grounded, and furniture rattled across New York Friday when an earthquake jolted the city that never sleeps.
No one was hurt, though, and New York's iconic skyline remained intact.
"I AM FINE," reported the Empire State Building on its X account.

"The situation is disastrous. Civilians, especially children, continue to pay the highest price for the ongoing violence," said Alexandra Saye from "Save the Children" in Washington, according to Al Jazeera.
She added that the total number of children killed in Gaza in the past few weeks is greater than the total number of children killed in all conflicts since 2019.

Figures released by the NGO Save the Children on Sunday, citing Palestinian health authorities, show that at least 3,324 children have been killed in Gaza since October 7, while 36 have been killed in the West Bank.
