BELGRADE -- Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic visited one hour after midnight on Thursday the Fire Brigade in Belgrade.

Accompanied by Police Director Milorad Veljovic, they wished firefighters a happy new year, and saw that the night was passing peacefully.

PRIŠTINA, BELGRADE -- Serbian citizen named as Slobodan Gavric, who was arrested in Pristina with 13 kg of explosives in his possession, was placed in 30-day custody on Saturday.

He is held "on suspicion of organising terrorist activities and bringing explosives into Kosovo," Tanjug reported.

BELGRADE, SARAJEVO -- Five persons have been arrested in Serbia and ten in Bosnia-Herzegovina on suspicion that they took part in the 1993 kidnapping of train passengers.

The train was traveling on the Belgrade-Bar line when 20 passengers were taken out and later killed.
