More than 300 cyclists from some 12 countries will compete in the "Santini Queens of the Aegean Boostrace" race on May 29 in the southwestern province of Muğla's Marmaris district, a tourism hub in the region.

British historian, writer and publisher Bettany Mary Hughes has made a documentary film on Arslantepe Mound, which is on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List in the eastern province of Malatya.

Hughes and her team came to Turkey in cooperation with the Culture and Tourism Ministry and the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and started shooting on April 15.

Thousands of facilities and tour and transfer vehicles in Turkey have been granted the "Safe Tourism Certificate" through a program aimed at ensuring the safety of tourists, relevant staff and travelers from COVID-19.

The Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) said the certificates have been granted to a total of 5,216 accommodation facilities.

 The Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), which undertakes the promotion of Turkey in the global marketplace, opened a new digital channel, the Culture and Tourism Ministry announced.

The new digital channel www.liveturkey.com gathers culture, art and gastronomy under the same roof online.
