Turkish contractors assume projects worth $20 billion this year
Turkish companies have assumed 196 building projects abroad, which have a total volume of $20.3 billion in the first 10 months of this year, according to a business association.
Thus, the Turkish construction sector has achieved its target for the whole of 2021 two months earlier, the Turkish Contractors Association (TCA) said in a statement on Nov. 2.
Turkish contractors undertook projects worth $6.5 bln in first half of 2021
The total worth of projects undertaken by Turkish contractors abroad hit $6.5 billion in the first half of 2021, according to a report released by the Turkish Contractors Association (TMB) on July 12.
Citing the Trade Ministry's data, the report said that Turkish construction firms undertook 100 projects in 33 countries by the end of June this year.
Turkish constructors undertake $15 bln of projects abroad
Turkish constructors earned $15 billion thanks to new projects undertaken last year, the country's trade minister said on March 30.
Contractors carry out $14 bln worth projects
