US Ambassador to Bulgaria Visited Headquarters of MRF Party
US Ambassador to Bulgaria, Eric Rubin, visited the headquarters of the ethnic Turkish party "Movement for Rights and Freedoms", the party's press office said on 20th of September.
Rubin spoke yesterday with MRF Honorary Chair Ahmed Dogan and Chairman Moustafa Karadyi. The three have discussed topical political issues and the development of bilateral relations.

Turkey, Bulgaria expel respective diplomats for 'interference in domestic affairs'
Turkey has retaliated to Sofia's decision to declare a Turkish diplomat "persona non grata" by expelling Bulgarian consul Zornitsa Petrova Apostolova, causing both diplomats to leave their posts in the latest indication of heightened tensions between the neighbors following Turkey's rift with Russia over the downing of a Russian jet on Nov. 24, 2015.

The new Turkish party-state has proven to be no different to the "ancien regime" regarding its Kurdish policy, despite all the fanfare in the name of democratization, dialogue, negotiations and the so-called peace process.
