The Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) presented on Monday the new Greece manager Angelos Anastasiadis, who has just called up his first squad to face Finland and Estonia in the last pair of games in this year's UEFA Nations League on Thursday and Sunday.

SOFIA (Reuters) - Slavia Sofia's 42-year-old goalkeeper Georgi Petkov has rejoined the Bulgarian national squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League matches against Cyprus and Norway.

Petkov, who was born in March 1976, last appeared for the Balkan country in a friendly international against Switzerland in February 2009 and has been selected several times since.

Turkey clawed back from a two-goal deficit to defeat Sweden 3-2 on Sept. 10 in a UEFA Nations League group match at Sweden's Friends Arena.

Russia beat Turkey 2-1 Friday in their first UEFA Nations League game.

Ljubljana, 6 September - Slovenia opened their campaign in the UEFA Nations League, the new international competition which replaces international friendly matches, by losing to Bulgaria in Ljubljana's Stožice Stadium 1:2 on Thursday, with both goals for the guests scored by the winger Bozhidar Kraev.

Greece will only have to head north for its first campaign in the UEFA Nations League, the new tournament of national teams that offers an alternative path to the Euro 2020 finals.

The Greek team was drawn on Wednesday to face Hungary, Finland and Estonia in a round-robin group of games to take place next fall, from September to November.
