Reports from Ukrainian media have confirmed that Russia has initiated significant missile strikes in Ukraine, employing Tu-95 and MiG-31 strategic bombers. The strikes, which included the deployment of "Kinzhal" missiles, targeted the cities of Lviv and Kyiv.

In a continuation of its military offensive against Ukraine, Russia conducted airstrikes on two energy sites in southern Ukraine, causing temporary power outages in the region. Ukrainian officials reported that the strikes targeted a substation in Mykolaiv and production facilities in the Odesa region.

According to UNIAN Agency, the attack involved nine Tu-95 bombers equipped with "Kinzhal" missiles, unleashing chaos and destruction across the city.

41 drones were destroyed over Rostov Oblast, three over Volgograd, two over Kursk, and one Ukrainian drone over Belgorod Oblast, reports RIA Novosti.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 12 of the 15 drones that Russia attacked Ukraine with last night, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced.

The Ukrainian armed forces have successfully pushed Russian occupiers out of the village of Tonenkoe, located west of Avdiivka.

The news comes from Julian Röpke, an open data analysis expert for BILD, who cited video footage from the frontline. Röpke had earlier reported on the challenges faced by Ukrainian forces in defending the Berdichi-Orlivka-Tonenkoe line west of Avdeevka.

In a significant development on the eastern front, Ukrainian forces have successfully reclaimed control of the village of Orlivka, situated west of Avdiivka, from Russian troops. Despite this victory, the overall situation in the region remains challenging, as reported by Reuters.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia states that their army conquered the village of Petrovskoe in that area and occupied more favorable positions.
