MAE: Melescanu participates in session of Foreign Ministers Council in Abu Dhabi

Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodor Melescanu attended the 46th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OCI) from Abu Dhabi , where he had a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of the member countries of this body.

Gratitude to Comoros for supporting Serbia's integrity

According to the government, they spoke about bilateral relations of the two countries and the improvement of cooperation.

Brnabic expressed deep gratitude to the Union of the Comoros for support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, demonstrated by that country's decision to withdraw recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.

Pristina reacts to recognition withdrawal: Not true

"No, there is nothing true about this news," Jetlir Ziberaj said in a brief statement for Pristina-based website lajmi.net, cited on Wednesday by Tanjug.

As stated, "the Serbian diplomacy, led by Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, is constantly lobbying against the independence of Kosovo and withdrawal of recognition by countries that have already recognized the state of Kosovo."

"Kosovo leaders already in Interpol - on arrest warrants"

Dacic did this after announcing that another country had revoked its recognition of Kosovo.

Speaking about the possibility of Kosovo joining Interpol later this month - something Serbia is fiercely opposed to - the minister said he "doesn't want to be an optimist (as to the outcome), because the Serbian president doesn't like to be an optimist."

Confirmed: 10th country revokes recognition of Kosovo

"It will be the 10th country that has done so," Dacic told RTS on Wednesday.

B92 later learned, and it has in the meantime been confirmed, that recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo has been withdrawn by the Union of the Comoros - a small island state in the Indian Ocean that recognized Kosovo in 20009.
