Kosovo Offers Deal on Serb-Language Diplomas
The Kosovo government has put forward a landmark proposal that will make it easier for Kosovo Serbs and members of other minority groups to apply for jobs in public institutions.
The deal involves Kosovo accepting the validity of diplomas issued by the country's Serbian-language university in the Serb-run far north of the country.

Protest over announced pulling down of Orthodox church
BELGRADE - The participants of an international conference titled Human Dignity, Freedom and Rights: Christian Dimension, held in Slovenia, have sent an appeal to Pristina city authorities to abandon a scheduled demolition of the temple of Christ the Savior in downtown Pristina.

Kosovo Students Protest Electricity Price Hikes
Students from the University of Pristina gathered in front of the offices of Kosovo's electricity distributor, KEDS, on Monday in a show of discontent over rising consumer bills.
Tensions peaked between the protesters and the police when three students were arrested.

1,264 students enrolled at Pristina University
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Faculties of the University of Pristina (PU) with the temporary seat in Kosovska Mitrovica enrolled 1,264 new students in the academic year 2014/2015 out of the planned 1,776, which is the quota set by the Ministry of Education.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A celebration was held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday to mark the Day of the Pristina University, which is temporarily seated in this city.
Kosovo to Demolish Disputed Milosevic-Era Church
Minister Gashi told media on Sunday that a controversial Serbian Orthodox church, built in the capital, Pristina, was erected “illegally” and must go.
“It’s a sensitive issue but the legal basis has to be the same as for every building. This building had no planning permission and will therefore be treated like every other building with no permission,” he said.
