Bosnian Serbs Pay Lobbyists to Escape US Sanctions
The government of the mainly Serb entity in Bosnia, Republika Srpska, RS, has set aside additional cash for lobbyists in the US to get RS President Milorad Dodik removed from the US blacklist, documents and information which BIRN received from Bosnian Serb officials reveal.
Most local analysts and international officials say the move is unlikely to achieve much, however.

Bosnian Serb Opposition Demands Probe Into US Lobbying

USA Extends List of Sanctioned Russian, Ukrainian Individuals, Entities
The USA extended the list of sanctioned Russian and Ukrainian individuals and institutions in an attempt to maintain pressure on Russia for Moscow's alleged support of separatists in Ukraine.
The administration of US President Barack Obama added on Thursday the names of 26 people and entities that will be subjected to economic sanctions, the New York Times informs.
