Stray dogs, cats enjoy classical music at Istanbul rehab center

A rehab center for stray animals in Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district has started playing classical music in a bid to reduce the stress of cats and dogs.

At least 950 dogs and 70 cats listen to orchestral music everyday as part of the project, which Ertuğrul Tunçel, the head of veterinary services at the Beylikdüzü Municipality, said they had started to reduce stress among the animals.

Huge crowds flock to 19 May meeting at Atatürk mausoleum

Turkey?s May 19 Youth and Sports Day was been marked by a huge crowds in the capital Ankara, as a concert took place at the ?An?tkabir? mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk for the first time in 17 years, in coordination with the mausoleum?s military command.

An?tkabir was open until midnight on May 19 for the concert, attracting large crowds.
