Locals in Turkey's Kilis 'worried, scared and insecure,' says CHP report
A lawmaker from the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) said the southeastern Kilis province had turned into a "war zone" and that nobody had "life safety," after a party delegation paid a visit to the border town and prepared a report on its security situation in the face of recent rocket attacks from Syrian territories.
Turkey overidentified with Muslim Brotherhood, says CHP after trip to Egypt
The Egyptian authorities say Turkey "overidentified itself with the Muslim Brotherhood," a main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy has said after talks in Cairo.
CHP Deputy Chair Öztürk Y?lmaz said at a March 30 press conference that Egyptian officials are "uneasy with the language" used by Turkish leaders against the country.
Turkish MPs head to Baghdad for kidnapped workers
Deputies from the Republican People's Party (CHP) arrived in Baghdad on Sept. 5 to monitor rescue efforts for 18 abducted Turkish workers, official sources said, as daily Hürriyet reported that the workers were taken away in 16 vehicles by the kidnappers.
