Lukashenko meets with Nikolic

BELGRADE - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko continued his visit to Serbia by meeting with the country’s president, Tomislav Nikolic.

Lukashenko was welcomed in front of the Palace of Serbia with full state honors.

After a closed-door meeting, the presidents will be joined by their countries’ delegations for further talks.

Lukashenko lays wreath at Monument to Unknown Hero

BELGRADE - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero in Avala near Belgrade late on Wednesday.

Accompanied by the intonation of the national anthems of Belarus and Serbia, Lukashenko honoured the Serb soldiers who did not hesitate to sacrifice their lives for freedom and a peaceful and dignified future for the coming generations.

Lukashenko to arrive in Belgrade on Wednesday

BELGRADE - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will on Wednesday arrive on a two-day visit to Serbia during which he will speak to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, with several agreements also to be signed.

On arrival in Belgrade, Lukashenko will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Mt. Avala, with official meetings scheduled for Thursday.
