Serbian Capital to Honour US President Woodrow Wilson
Serbia's capital plans to erect a monument to Woodrow Wilson, the US President during World War I, Belgrade City Council decided on Friday.
This is final confirmation of a decision made by City's Commission for Monuments and Names of Squares and Streets last week.
Nikodijevic elected president of Belgrade city assembly
BELGRADE - Nikola Nikodijevic of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) was elected president of the Belgrade city assembly on Wednesday, by the votes of 84 assembly members.
A total of 102 out of 110 assembly members cast their votes for the new city assembly president.
After the election, Nikodijevic assumed the role of chairman of the constitutive meeting.
