Car rental market has been accelerating in Greece
The car rental market in Greece is showing satisfactory growth rates, as from 60,000 a few years ago, the number of vehicles available has now exceeded 100,000. Avis alone acquired 10,000 new cars last year, accounting for 10 percent of all new car registrations in 2018.

Taprantzis resigns from privatization agency TAIPED
Andreas Taprantzis has stepped down as executive director at Greece's privatization agency TAIPED, a statement said Wednesday.

Greece is preparing a property portfolio valued at as much as 500 million euros ($689 million) to offer to investors by the end of this year, according to the head of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund.
Elliniko to partially open in 2017
The Elliniko development will open to the public in three years time, with work starting in 2015 when Lamda Development pays its first installment to the state for the coastal plot, privatization fund TAIPED told a press conference on Thursday.
The added value for the country is huge, TAIPED head Constantinos Maniatopoulos said.
