Fashion, film merge as Paris shows its opulent side

French film legend and amateur race car driver Jean-Louis Trintignant, who earned acclaim for his starring role in the Oscar-winning film "A Man and a Woman" half a century ago and went on to portray the brutality of aging in his later years, has died. He was 91.

Palestinian artist Elia Suleiman is the winner of the special prize of the jury of this year's edition of the festival on the Croisette.

Paskaljevic wins Sofia award
SOFIA - Serbian director Goran Paskaljevic will receive the Sofia award for contribution to the world cinematography at the 18th international film festival in Sofia which will take place from March 6 to 16.
