Romania's climate diplomacy pilot network was launched on Tuesday, following an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), including, in a first stage, 18 diplomatic missions of our country, the most active in the field of climate diplomacy.

French Ambassador to Romania Michele Ramis has called the Anna de Noailles French High School of Bucharest a cornerstone of French education development in Romania. According to a press statement from the French Embassy in Romania, Ramis made the statements on Tuesday at an event that marked the 100th anniversary of the French School in Romania.

Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Ramona Manescu participated on Monday in the opening of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) 63rd General Conference in Vienna, context in which she talked about Romania's commitment to contribute to strengthening nuclear security, including through co-chairing the IAEA's International Conference on nuclear security, alongside Panama in February 2020

Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Ramona Manescu participates in the opening of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) 63rd General Conference in Vienna on Monday. According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), Manescu will have meetings with IAEA acting Director General, ambassador Cornel Feruta, as well as with representatives of the participating states.

Romania supports the candidacy of ambassador Cornel Feruta for the position of director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the upcoming elections that will take place during the meeting of the IAEA General Conference this September.
