Damiano David on his solo journey: ‘I prefer to be myself’ – Interview on Silverlines debut”
Damiano David appears on my screen from Paris with his signature confidence, though he bears little resemblance to the eccentric Italian frontman of Måneskin. In our online meeting, he’s relaxed, wearing a white shirt and a wide tie with pink paisley patterns. His preppy style recalls David Bowie’s Duke era more than a rebellious rock star taking the stage by storm.
'Nature' joins music platforms for conservation project
"Nature" became a musical artist on April 18 with the help of stars including Brian Eno, Ellie Goulding and Aurora, part of a United Nations initiative to raise conservation funds.
George Michael coin unveiled by the Royal Mint
Late British singer-songwriter George Michael is being honored with a personalized collectible coin.
Britain's Royal Mint said on Feb. 26 the new coin, which depicts Michael wearing his trademark sunglasses, pays tribute to the music star's 1987 hit solo single "Faith."
Officially approved by Michael's estate, it was designed by artist and sculptor Sandra Deiana.

Menswear regains its muscle at Paris Fashion Week
Menswear proved to be in reinvigorated form as Paris Fashion Week ended on June 26 with spectacle, innovation and the return of big-name designers to the catwalk.
The week concluded with the surprising return of fabled French designer Hedi Slimane, formerly of Dior and Saint Laurent and now with Celine. Two years ago, he had announced he was done with the official fashion calendar.
