Cuba commemorates the first anniversary of the death of revolutionary father Fidel Castro on Nov. 25 as it looks ahead to the post-Castro era.

'Fidel Castro Park' opened in Ankara's Çankaya on his birthday
The Çankaya Municipality in the Turkish capital Ankara opened the "Fidel Castro Park" on Aug. 13, the birthday of the iconic Cuban leader.
Cuba's ambassador to Ankara, Alberto Gonzalez Casals, also attended the park's opening ceremony.

Millions of crabs “invade” Bay of Pigs in Cuba (photos)
Cuba’s Bay of Pigs has been invaded again, this time not by U.S.-backed anti-Castro forces, but by millions of red, yellow and black landcrabs.
Each year, after the first spring rains, the crabs march for days from the surrounding forests to the bay on Cuba’s southern coast to spawn in the sea, wreaking havoc along the way.
Fidel’s sister Agustina Castro dead at 78
Agustina del Carmen Castro Ruz, the youngest sibling of Fidel and Raul Castro, has died in Cuba. She was 78.
Agustina Castro died Sunday at a hospital in Havana due to complications from a recent surgery following a fractured hip, sister Juanita Castro said.
She told The Associated Press that Agustina had been in poor health for more than a year.
