Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hossein Jaber Ansari has denied that Tehran's relations with its western neighbor will be "reviewed," describing Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi's call in that direction as a "personal opinion."

Russia has delivered to Iran the first batch of its S-300 air defense missile systems, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari has said.

"The first batch of the Russian S-300 air defense missile systems has arrived in Iran," Iran's TASNIM news agency quoted him as saying on Monday, TASS is reporting.

Members of the international community, including world powers like the United States and Russia and inter-governmental organizations like the United Nations, have stood beside Turkey and condemned the third major terrorist attack to hit the country's capital over the past six months. 

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will visit Italy and France next week on his first trip to Europe since the lifting of sanctions against his country, a diplomatic source told Reuters on Jan. 18.

The source said Rouhani would be in Italy on Jan. 25-26 and leave for Paris on Jan. 27. On his first day in Italy he will meet the country's president, prime minister and business leaders.
