Tourist Sector Reports Minor Increase Of Visitors
The 2014 summer season was hard and the results were modest, reports the Burgas regional tourist association, quoted by the 24 Chasa daily.
According to the analysis for the period April-October 2014, the south Black Sea coast of Bulgaria was visited by 1.2 M tourists, which is by 2% more than in 2013.

Bisons In Sofia Zoo Were Poisoned
The two bisons that died in the Sofia Zoo this week have been poisoned, according to the Food Safety Agency, quoted by the 24 Chasa daily.
Tests to established what poisoned them are still ongoing. The leading version is some type of fungus in the fodder, with which they were fed, but the version of deliberate poisoning is not excluded.

Another Animal Dies In Sofia Zoo
A baby capricorn died in the Sofia zoo on Tuesday, reports the bTV national channel.
This is the sixth death of a herbivorous animal in the zoo, since the end of last week. Over the weekend died a camel, a yak and three gaurs.

Sofia Zoo Temporarily Closed Due to Death of Animals
The Sofia Zoo is closed temporarily, by an order of Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova.
According to the zoo website, the reason is the death of five herbivorous animals over the weekend.

A loose python is reportedly terrorising the residents of the Lyulin 9 district of Bulgaria's capital Sofia and has eaten 30 kittens, according to local media.
Multiple reports in the social networks and news websites claim the snake is between 1.5 and 5 m long and has already devoured 30 stray kittens.

An energy expert has said that the agreement with US Westinghouse on Kozloduy NPP's unit7 erodes Bulgaria's position in the arbitration case with Atomstroyexport over Belene NPP.
Westinghouse Electric announced on Friday that it had completed a shareholder agreement for an AP1000 unit at the Kozloduy NPP.
