Belgrade's new Danube bridge officially opened
BELGRADE -- Prime ministers of Serbia and China Aleksandar Vucic and Li Keqiang on Thursday officially opened the new bridge over the Danube River in Belgrade.
A large number of citizens, public figures and officials attended the ceremony.

Bulgaria's PM Bliznashki Urges Strong Political Government
Bulgaria should have an exceptionally strong political cabinet after the early elections on October 5, interim Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki said.
He told journalists on Sunday it is "high time" the country ends with the post-socialist transition and make steps toward "sustainable development".
Svetlana Velmar-Jankovic dies
BELGRADE - Writer Svetlana Velmar-Jankovic died in Belgrade, her family and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) released on Wednesday.
Velmar-Jankovic was a regular member of SANU.
She was born in Belgrade on February 1, 1933. She studied French literature.
