The Ministry of Economy and the World Bank Will Partner to Improve the Innovative Development of the Bulgarian Economy

The Deputy Minister of Economy Lilia Ivanova and Fabrizio Zarcone, Permanent Representative of the World Bank Group for Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia held a meeting at which they agreed on a partnership between the Ministry of Economy and the World Bank Group.

Bulgarian Exports to Saudi Arabia Increased by more than 60% in the First Six Months of 2019.

In the first six months of 2019 alone, exports from Bulgaria to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia increased by over 60% compared to the same period in 2018, reaching USD 24.9 million. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy Lilia Ivanova, who opened a Bulgarian-Saudi business forum in Sofia.

Investments Worth More Than BGN 200 million Were Made in the Automotive Industry in 2018

In 2018, investments were made for over BGN 200 million  in factories related to the automotive industry, which will reveal 3200 new jobs in the country.

This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Economy Lilia Ivanova at the opening of a conference dedicated to the Italian design in the automotive sector, which took place in Sofia, reported Econ.bg

Bulgaria and Australia Intensify Trade Cooperation

A group of Bulgarians from different business spheres has established an Australian-Bulgarian Business Council aimed at deepening trade and economic ties between Bulgaria and Australia, it became clear at a meeting between Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Economy Lila Ivanova and Australia's Ambassador in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania Kate Logan.
