Dilma Rousseff is Accused of Creating an Organised Crime Structure
Brazil's Prosecutor General Rodrigo Zhano has filed a request with the Federal Supreme Court for charges against former presidents of the country, Luis Inasi Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, for the creation of a criminal organization. An accusation has also been raised against six other members of the Brazilian Labor Party. Reports Sega.

Former Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, a top contender to win next year's presidential election, was convicted on corruption charges on July 12 and sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison.
9 Years in Prison for the Previous President of Brazil
Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was sentenced to nine and a half years in prison for corruption and money laundering, TASS reported, referring to Globo Television. That, however does not mean Lula will be sent to jail soon. Under Brazilian law, the sentenced person remains free while appealing his sentence, according to TARIC, quoted by Darik.
Brazil’s former president Lula detained
Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has been detained for questioning on Friday in an anti-corruption and money laundering operation concerning state oil company Petrobras.
The former president’s house was raided by police agents and he was brought in for questioning.
