Büyükakçay to take on Rogers at French Open
Turkish player Çağla Büyükakçay will take on Shelby Rogers at the French Open on May 31 after beating Croatia's Mirjana Lucic-Baroni in straight sets on May 28.
The world's 155th-ranked player won 6-3, 6-3 against her 35-year-old rival, who is a full 133 spots ahead of her in the world rankings.
"I'll face another tough rival," Büyükakçay told Anadolu Agency after the win.

WASHINGTON - Serbia's Bojana Jovanovski failed to reach the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Washington after losing to Marina Erakovic of New Zealand (6-4, 6-4) in the quarter-finals late Friday.
The prize money of the WTA tournament in Washington totals USD 250,000.

Bojana Jovanovski through to Washington quarter-finals
WASHINGTON - Serbia's Bojana Jovanovski reached the quarter-finals of the Washington WTA tournament early Thursday by beating Sorana Cirstea of Romania 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
In a bid to reach the semi-finals, Jovanovski will face Marina Erakovic of New Zealand, who beat Shelby Rogers of the United States 6-3, 6-4.
