In the past year, Djokovic played in the finals of all four Grand Slams and won three - the Australian Open, Roland Garros and the US Open.
With that, he became the tennis player with the most Grand Slam titles in history - 24.
In addition, he won the Masters in Cincinnati and Paris, and the Final Masters in Turin, and he started the year with a triumph in Adelaide.

Hamilton ends silence, posts “I’m back!” on social media
Lewis Hamilton returned to social media following a lengthy silence that dates to last season's controversial Formula 1 finale.
Hamilton had dropped out of public sight after he was denied a record eighth championship in the December finale in Abu Dhabi. He re-emerged on Feb. 5 with a post that showed the seven-time champion smiling from what appears to be the Grand Canyon.

Bottas wins Turkish Grand Prix as Verstappen reclaims championship lead
Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas claimed his first chequered flag of the season to win the Turkish Grand Prix on Oct. 10 as Max Verstappen reclaimed the lead in the title race.
The Red Bull driver finished second to take a six-point lead in the championship ahead of Bottas' teammate Lewis Hamilton who could only finish fifth.
F1 announces revised 2021 calendar
Formula One on Aug. 28 announced a revised calendar for the rest of the 2021 season, following the cancellation of the Japanese Grand Prix due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new schedule will have 22 races - a record number of races in one season - with some of the events shifted to new dates.

Hamilton wins in China as Rosberg fumes
Lewis Hamilton roared to victory at the Chinese Grand Prix but was then hit by a furious blast from Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg as their long-running feud re-erupted on April 12.
In a race which finished under the safety car, the Briton made it two wins out of three races this year, with Rosberg second and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel third.
