In a conversation with daily "Danas", he points out that Albanians from the Presevo Valley want to be an active participant in the talks on the status of Kosovo.

He pointed out, in response to the claims that "Serbia has gone through the worst and that most of them are infected in our country", that we have the most people tested on a daily basis, more than seven thousand of them.
"How do you think they have more infected when they have 1000 tested per day? We can now stop and test 300. We will not hide, we will not lie," he said.

He said that there were no talks or agreements with Belgrade.
"I dream about Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac becoming a part of Kosovo's territorial integrity without any compromise," Thaci told TV Klan Kosova last night.

"These elections are of national importance," he said.
With just 6,602 voters, Medvedja should be a backwater. But its importance lies in its proximity to the former Serbian province of Kosovo and its role in an ethnic Albanian guerrilla insurgency in southern Serbia in 2000-2001.
