Bosnian Serb Ex-Fighter’s Crimes Against Humanity Trial Opens
Former Territorial Defence fighter Milan Trisic went on trial at the Bosnian state court on Wednesday, accused of committing crimes against humanity in the village of Hranca and in the town of Bratunac in 1992.
He is accused of participating in the persecution of Bosniak civilians from the village and of involvement in murders, detentions, forcible disappearances and torture.

Former Territorial Defence fighter Milan Trisic will go on trial on March 23 for crimes including murders, expulsions, unlawful arrests and pillage, the Bosnian state court decided on Tuesday.

Police on Thursday morning arrested former soldier Milan Trisic, who is accused of committing a crime against humanity against Bosniaks in the Bratunac municipality in 1992, at Sarajevo airport after he was deported from the US.

US Jails Bosnian Serb for Concealing Wartime Deeds
US authorities have jailed Milan Trisic for 18 months for failing to state in his application for a green card that he had served in the Bosnian Serb forces that took part in the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995.
