Two PKK terrorists nabbed in Istanbul, Azaz: Minister

Two PKK terrorists, preparing to carry out attacks, have been detained, one in Istanbul, the other in northern Syria, the interior minister has said.

Announcing the captures with tweets on Aug. 11, Süleyman Soylu firstly declared the capture of a suicide bomber in Azaz, a Syrian city some 30 kilometers away from Aleppo.

Eşarj to expand its charging stations network

Eşarj aims to include 495 fast-charging stations to its existing charging station network by investing 300 million Turkish Liras as part of its Fast-Charging Stations for EVs Program, the company has said in a statement.

Thanks to new investments, Eşarj will have the largest and fastest EV charging station network in Türkiye in terms of installed capacity, the statement added.

Thousands bid farewell to legendary actor

Thousands of fans bid farewell to Turkish legendary actor Cüneyt Arkın, who died at the age of 85, in a funeral service held in Istanbul's Teşvikiye Mosque.

The actor was then laid to rest in Zincirlikuyu cemetery in the Beşiktaş district on June 30.

Early on June 30, a ceremony was held in Atatürk Cultural Center, one of the metropolis' iconic art centers.

Turkey detains former HDP party officials for PKK links

Turkish authorities have detained some 46 people, including former local officials from People's Democratic Party (HDP), who are suspected of having links to PKK terrorist group, in part of the Kobani investigation, local news agencies reported yesterday.

The detained are among 91 suspects sought by a chief prosecutor for allegedly "providing financial resources on behalf" of PKK.
