The situation with the availability of antibiotics in pharmacies is gradually normalizing. A large number of the missing drugs were found in bulk warehouses. This was reported to the Bulgarian National Radio by Nikolay Kostov from the Union of Pharmacy Owners. The problem remains with the lack of several types of insulin and other medications for people with diabetes.

"There are 18 drugs on the home treatment list that the NHIF pays for. 9 of them are completely free, and 3-4 have long been missing from the market." This was said on Nova TV by Nikolay Kostov, chairman of the Association of Pharmacy Owners.
Masks Available in Bulgaria Have Different Protection Level
"There is a wide choice of protective masks on the market. FFP2 and FFP3 differ in protection level. FFP2 protects against all particles and microorganisms at about 94%. FFP3 is safe at about 98-99%," said Chair of the Association of Pharmacy Owners Nikolay Kostov.

All EU Member States, except Bulgaria and Romania have introduced an European system of traceability for counterfeiting medicinal products over 95 percent, Deyan Denev - chairman of the Bulgarian Organization for the Verification of Medicines said.
