The spouse of a deceased Russian pilot, who was killed after Turkish warplanes shot down a Russian aircraft on Nov. 24, 2015, over an alleged airspace violation, has said she is ready to meet Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

The alleged killer of Turkey-downed Russian SU-24 jet pilot has penned a letter to the Russian foreign ministry spokesperson from prison, calling for peace and dialogue.

Alparslan Çelik, the alleged killer of Oleg Peshkov, the pilot of the Russian jet downed by Turkey on Nov. 24, 2015, according to Moscow, has reportedly claimed that he didn't shoot Peshkov in his testimony.

A court in the Aegean province of ?zmir ruled for the arrest of Çelik for violating a gun law along with another six suspects.

Meanwhile, the court also ruled for the release of eight suspects.

Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov has said the alleged killer of a Russian pilot whose plane was shot down by Turkey late last year was "roaming free" in Turkey, reiterating the Russian call on authorities to take action over his arrest.

Alparslan Çelik, the alleged killer of Oleg Peshkov, the pilot of the Russian jet downed by Turkey on Nov. 24, 2015 according to Moscow, has said he has "no fear" of the Russians, speaking to Do?an News Agency a day after he was seen attending a funeral in Istanbul.

A Turkish man wanted by Russia for allegedly killing one of the two pilots of the Russian jet downed by Turkey near the Turkish-Syrian border in late 2015 has appeared at a funeral ceremony in Istanbul, saying he would go back to Syria.

Russian soldiers are searching for the alleged killer of a Russian pilot who was shot after the downing of a Russian jet by Turkey near the Syrian border on Nov. 24, according to reports by Russian media.
