BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Friday received a farewell visit from Canadian Ambassador to Belgrade Philip Pinnington, thanking him for his personal contribution to development of overall bilateral relations.

VIRTUS awards were presented on Saturday in a ceremony in Belgrade for philanthropy campaigns and programs carried out in 2015.

The awards in five main and two special categories were presented by U.S. and Canadian ambassadors to Serbia, Michael Kirby and Philip Pinnington, and deputy head of EU's delegation in Serbia Oskar Benedikt.

NOVI SAD - Vojvodina Assembly Speaker Istvan Pastor and Canadian Ambassador to Serbia Philip Pinnington talked on Tuesday about the respect of human and minority rights in that province and the economic cooperation between Serbia and Canada.

OBRENOVAC - Canadian Ambassador Philip Pinnington stated that his country's government has ensured additional USD 500,000 for the recovery in Serbia after the last year's flashing floods.

The funds will be directed where most necessary via UNOPS and would be used for recovery of the facilities damaged in the floods, Pinnington said during his visit to Obrenovac.
