Belgrade Non-Aligned Summit Condemns West’s ’Vaccination Nationalism’

A two-day summit opened in Belgrade on Monday to mark the 60th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, established to create a third global bloc in a world polarised by the East-West Cold War.

Delegations from more than 105 countries and nine international organizations are taking part in the gathering, hosted by Serbia.

FM Çavuşoğlu meets Turkish Cypriot counterpart in New York

The Turkish foreign minister on Sept. 19 separately met with Turkish Cypriot and Indonesian counterparts in New York on the sidelines of the 76th session of the U.N. General Assembly.

Turkey extends condolences over Indonesia plane crash

Turkey extended condolences to Indonesia over Jan. 9's passenger plane crash near the capital Jakarta.

"We have learned with great sorrow that a passenger airplane flying from Jakarta to the city of Pontianak in Indonesia crashed shortly after takeoff today, resulting in the loss of lives of more than 60 people," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Indonesian women, children held in Turkey 'heading to join ISIL'

Sixteen Indonesians, mostly women and children, have been arrested in Turkey attempting to cross into Syria to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
      
The 11 children, four women and one man from the world's most populous Muslim-majority country were detained in the Turkish border town of Gaziantep. Officials did not say when they were arrested.
