Serbian scientists urged to apply for EU funds

BELGRADE -- Nobel laureate Tim Hunt on Thursday urged Serbian scientists to apply for European Research Council (ERC) funds with more projects.

He noted that "the excellence of an individual and their idea is the sole criterion for awarding the funds."

CERN officials visit Serbia

BELGRADE -- CERN Director of Research Sergio Bertolucci and the organization's international relations adviser, physicist Emmanuel Tsesmelis, have visited Belgrade.
