Nikolic to put forward 5-6 people as members of new council

BELGRADE- Outgoing Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said Thursday he would put forward at least five or six people as members of a national council to be tasked with cooperation with Russia and China.

Speaking to Sputnik, Nikolic, who is set to retire on May 31, said he would chair the council without fee.

Nikolic meets with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Wednesday met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, to whom he presented the Order of the Republic of Serbia of the Second Class for merit in development and strengthening of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between Serbia and the UAE.

Nikolic: There'll be no change, Vucic and I think alike

Serbia's policy towards Belarus will not change when Aleksandar Vucic takes office, Serbia's outgoing President Tomislav Nikolic has told the BelTA agency.

“There will be no new ideology. I have been working together with Aleksandar Vucic for the past 25 years, and our ideas are the same,” Nikolic said.

Lukashenko decorates Nikolic

MINSK - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Thursday received from Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko a state award of the Republic of Belarus - the Order of Friendship of Nations.

Nikolic and Lukashenko - who had invited Nikolic to a working visit to Belarus - also held a bilateral meeting.
