In July, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing as they decided to implement a strategic partnership. President Rumen Radev is on a state visit to China at the invitation of his counterpart,Xi Jinping.

The U.S. President Donald Trump sent an "excellent" letter to the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the Korean Central News Agency reported.
