China, Taiwan open first hotline in tension reducing measure
China and Taiwan began operating the first telephone hotline between the two nations on Dec. 30, set up as a confidence building and tension reducing measure, with senior officials exchanging New Year's greetings.
The step was agreed during a historic meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou in Singapore last month.

Vucic with Huawei execs, to meet with China's president, PM
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday began the last day of his visit to China with a meeting with Huawei executives.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will on Monday begin his official visit to China, at the invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
During the visit Vucic will take part in the fourth China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) summit.
