The government will go before Parliament to ask for a vote of confidence, and negotiation remains the best weapon, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said in Pitesti, Arges County on Thursday, ruling out any negotiations with Pro Romania.   She added that the Social Democratic Party (PSD) does not contemplate abandoning government, which she discussed with most of the PSD leaders.

Not even the communists allowed themselves something like this, said President Klaus Iohannis on Tuesday in relation to the incidents in southern Topoloveni, Arges County, last Friday, when ten people protesting during a visit of the Social Democratic Party (PSD, major ruling, ed. n.) leader Liviu Dragnea, were taken up by the gendarmes and rushed to the police station.

Romania is the first country Phil Hogan officially visits in the capacity of European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Suindprod Radic pig farm in Arges County was the first facility Hogan, European Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Cretu, Minister of Agriculture Daniel Constantin and Minister of European Funds Eugen Teodorovici toured together on Thursday.

Prime minister, Victor Ponta on Friday said at the Victoria Palace (government's HQs) that the Government hopes to find a solution to solving the salary issue at the local public administration level, adding that 'the public sector's salary law is a total disaster, starting with the President and the Prime minister, whose salaries are smaller than any company's receptionist.'

The Bradet stretched-curd cheese, a traditional deli food whose name was "borrowed" by producers all over the country, has its origins in the north-western part of Arges County, specifically in the Bradulet commune that sits on the upper course of the Valsan river.
