Sound bomb hits AKP bureau in southeastern Turkey
A sound bomb exploded at the ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) election bureau in Artuklu district in the southeastern province of Mardin on May 19. One person has been detained over the incident.
No casualties were reported after the blast hit the bureau opened by the AKP deputy Gönül Bekin ?ahkulubey as a coordination office for campaigning in Artuklu.

Mardin Biennial starts at monastery
The 3rd Mardin Biennial, organized by the Mardin Cinema Association, opened on May 17 at the idle Morephrem Monastery in the eastern province of Mardin. This year's biennial theme is "Mythologies."
During the biennial, 63 artists, 20 of whom are foreign, will display performances in churches, historic mansions and bazaars.

Opera Ballet Days in Mardin
