Plane with expelled Russian diplomats leaves US: Russian media
A plane carrying 35 Russian diplomats expelled from the United States over Moscow's alleged interference in the presidential election took off from Washington on Jan.1 and landed in Moscow on Jan. 2, Russian news agencies reported.
"The plane has taken off, everyone is on board," said the Russian embassy in Washington, quoted by the state-owned RIA Novosti agency.
Offenbach opera at Zorlu
The Zorlu PSM screenings of Royal Opera House productions continue with "Les Contes D'Hoffman" (The Tales of Hoffman), a well-regarded opera by Jacques Offenbach.
The opera will be at Zorlu PSM on Dec. 29.

Panasonic, Tesla to start production of solar cells in New York
Panasonic Corp and Tesla Motors said on Dec. 27 they have agreed to start production of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules at a factory in Buffalo, New York, as reported by Reuters.
In a joint statement, the two companies said they plan to start production of PV modules in the summer of 2017 and increase to one gigawatt of module production by 2019.
