A curfew declared in the southeastern province of ??rnak?s Cizre district since 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 has been lifted, an official statement announced on Sept. 14.

A Peoples? Democratic Party (HDP) deputy, who entered Turkey?s southeastern province of ??rnak?s Cizre district, where a curfew has been in place since Sept. 4, said two young people were killed in clashes with security forces, while the damages of the clashes in Diyarbak?r?s Sur district following the lift of a day-long curfew have been revealed. 

One soldier has been killed and four others have been injured after the outlawed Kurdistan Workers? Party (PKK) militants opened fire at military personnel in Turkey?s southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, while the number of civilians killed in the latest clashes in the nearby province of ??rnak has risen to four.

Three civilians were killed during clashes between Turkish security personnel and outlawed Kurdistan Workers? Party (PKK) militants in the southeastern province of ??rnak?s Cizre district on Aug. 27, amid claims by a Peoples? Democratic Party (HDP) deputy saying three more people were killed and seven others were wounded in clashes in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari.
