Jordan Carrying Out Strikes on IS Iraq Targets
Jordan has deployed tens of fighter jets to bomb targets of the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq, officials say.
The military has vowed to continue with the attacks to bring IS to its defeat after the death of Moaz al-Kassabeh, a captured Jordanian military pilot who was burned alive, with IS members taking footage of their actions.

The brutal manner in which Muath al-Kasaesbeh, the Jordanian fighter pilot, was killed should act as a wakeup call for the Islamic world. Being killed in combat is obviously one of the occupational hazards every soldier has to face, but what al-Kasaesbeh had to suffer goes far beyond the call of duty.
