US President Vowed Retribution for Deadly Attack on Americans at Kabul Airport
President Joe Biden on Thursday vowed to make terrorists "pay" for the deadly attacks that killed 13 U.S. service members and wounded many others when ISIS militants set off multiple bombs outside of Kabul's main airport earlier in the day.
Second batch of soldiers from Afghanistan arrives Turkey
A second batch of Turkish troops evacuated from the Afghan capital Kabul landed home in the Turkish capital on Aug. 27.

The plane carrying Turkish Armed Forces personnel from Afghanistan landed in Ankara at 13.10 p.m. local time (1010GMT).
U.S. military leadership issued a statement
The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, killing more than 70 people, including many US troops, who are practically in control of Kabul airport to ensure the evacuation of all foreigners and their associates from Afghanistan.
