Trilateral Commission to discuss region's EU path

BELGRADE - The upcoming meeting of the European branch of the Trilateral Commission, set to open in Belgrade on Friday, will bring together participants from all European countries, who will discuss the progress of the entire region on the path towards EU accession, says Tahir Hasanovic, president of the organising committee of the European Trilateral Conference in Belgrade.

Vucic visits Prague

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is paying an official visit to Prague, where he will meet with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka.

According to the Czech government's website, the talks will focus on cooperation in the fields of railway infrastructure, health care, water management, defense and security, and the process of Serbia's EU accession.

ŠID -- PM Aleksandar Vučić and head of the EU delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport visited on Thursday the village of Jamena, in northwest Serbia.

They toured the post-flood repair works in the municipality of Šid funded by the European Union with EUR 620,000.
