Migrant crisis: EU asked to increase financial assistance
Aleksandar Vulin has asked the EU to increase financial assistance to Serbia intended for the care of migrants, but also help in controlling borders.
The head of the Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs made this statement on Thursday in Brussels, where he met with EU Commissioner for Migration and Home Affairs Dimitris Avramopoulos.
Pristina prevents Vulin from entering Kosovo
Pristina has banned Serbian cabinet minister Aleksandar Vulin from entering Kosovo, reports said on Monday.
According to Beta, the permission was not given by the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Official resigns for letting his brother use government car
State Secretary in the Ministry of Labor, Social and Veteran Affairs Aleksandar Jablanovic has resigned over a case of abuse of an official government vehicle.
Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that a commission previously determined this, and that he accepted the resignation, and added that "nobody committing a violation will be protected" in his ministry.
"Those who back Pristina's actions are responsible for them"
Aleksandar Vulin says the U.S. embassy in Pristina is, rather than safeguarding peace, justifying announcements of violence and threats of weapons.
The embassy also "called for a violation of the Brussels agreement," the Serbian minister of labor, social and veteran affairs said on Monday in Belgrade, according to Tanjug.
Minister denies forcible deportations of migrants
Minister of Labor and Social and Veteran Affairs Aleksandar Vulin said on Tuesday that Serbia is not forcibly deporting illegal migrants from its territory.
When asked by reporters to comment on UNHCR's "data" about "some states illegally deporting migrants," Vulin said the state of Serbia has not forcibly returned any of the migrants to their countries.

Serbia to receive 7.3 mln euros more in EU aid for migration
BELGRADE - The European Commission has approved 7.3 mln euros more for Serbia in aid for migration management - the funds will go to the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Veteran and Social Affairs, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the Ministry of Interior.
"No way to know who migrants are, what they intend to do"

Serbia's unemployment rate down to 13.8 pct
BELGRADE - Serbia's unemployment rate is down to 13.8 pct, PM Aleksandar Vucic and Minister of Labour, Employment and Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin have said in the parliament.
In Monday's debate on the 2017 budget bill, Vucic said that, after declining to 15.2 pct, the unemployment rate had dropped further to 13.8 pct in the last quarter.

Vulin receives Swedish ambassador
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Labour, Employment and Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin on Tuesday received Swedish Ambassador to Serbia Jan Lundin, who commended Serbia's economic progress and its government's success in labour market reforms and cutting down the unemployment rate.
