The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui, spoke about the latest information from Kosovo and Metohija, after the arrest of members of the Kosovo police on the territory of Serbia.
He also spoke about the ban on the import of Serbian goods to Kosovo and Metohija.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Wednesday special police forces of the so-called Kosovo had arrested three Post of Serbia employees in the north of Kosovo-Metohija earlier in the day.

The meeting was scheduled after the Kosovo police shot a Serb, Milan Jovanovi, and a protest was held regarding that attack.

BELGRADE - Kosovo-Metohija Serbs living both south and north of the Ibar River and Serbs in central Serbia will always be united, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday after a meeting with representatives of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs in Belgrade, and added that joint conclusions about developments in the province would be announced in a week's time.

"Serbs on Kosovo and Metohija presently need unity and the support of the Serbian state to survive and preserve their state and national interests", it is said in a statement of Civic Initiative SDP, carried by Kosovo online.

Humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon, who has been sending aid to the Serbs on Kosovo and Metohija for years, and was imposed a ban from entering Kosovo and Metohija on September 10, 2018, told this to Prva TV.
"I find it hard that I cannot visit Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija, I am not in a position to see my friends", he said.

BELGRADE - The first meeting of a working group set up by the Serbian government to provide support for internal dialogue on Kosovo-Metohija will be held after the October 22 local elections in Kosovo-Metohija, by the end of the month at the latest, Politika reported on Wednesday.

President of the Serb List Goran Rakic announced on Friday that this political group will be united in the October 22 local elections in Kosovo.

Establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) is a key issue raised by Belgrade's delegation with EU representatives in Brussels.

Marko Djuric, head of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, said this on Tuesday.

GRACANICA - Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic said Wednesday that hatred in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) had to stop and that freedom was not negotiatiable.
