Franco-Turkish director's film a nominee for Oscars

Mikhalkov, Tavernier, Konchalovsky, Cuaron at Kustendorf
BELGRADE - The 8th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival, which begins at Drvengrad in Mecavnik on Wednesday, now also has celebrated Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov on its guest list.
Confirmed guests include famous director Andrey Konchalovsky, Mexican-American director Alfonso Cuaron, as well as cult French director Bertrand Tavernier.

BELGRADE -- Nikita Mikhalkov will be among the guests of the Kusterdorf film and music festival, set to take place Jan. 21-26 on Mt. Mokra Gora in western Serbia.
The Russian filmmaker will thus join his older brother, Andrei Konchalovsky, and a host of other international directors and producers.
Kustendorf film festival in Drvengrad January 21-26
BELGRADE - The 8th international film and music festival Kustendorf will be held in Drvengrad on Mokra Gora from January 21 to 26.
The competitive programme will comprise 17 movies from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Holland, Iceland, Romania, Israel, Croatia, Germany, Belgium, France, Hungary, Egypt, Russia, the USA and Serbia and the awards will bew the gold, silver and bronze eggs.
Ivana Zigon receives Russian 'Golden Knight' award
MOSCOW - 'Stojte galije carske' (Hail to you, imperial galleys), a musical stage spectacle directed by Ivana Zigon won the main award of the international film festival Golden Knight in Moscow, the project's PR officer Olivera Zivkovic said.
