Chinese virus vaccine on its way to Turkey, says health minister
A contract has been signed to buy a Chinese vaccine developed against COVID-19 and 10 million doses of the injection are already on their way to Turkey, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has said.
Talks with Sinovac, the Chinese developer of the vaccine, and necessary legal procedures have been concluded, Koca told daily Hürriyet.
Germany starts first?
"There is reason for optimism that the vaccine will be approved in Europe this year. And then we can start immediately," Spahn said in an interview with the German RND.
He added that he asked the federal German states to prepare vaccination centers by mid-December, Reuters reports.
